“I will give you rain in due season and the land shall yield her increase and the trees of the field yield their fruit.” (Leviticus 26:4)
God has set seasons in our lives and walks us through each one. There are plowing seasons, planting season and watering seasons. Each season prepares us for the next one. During the plowing season God brings issues to light that which we need to deal with in our lives.
The planting season is one of sowing seeds in our lives; a dying to ourselves in order for the Spirit to grow; making room for more of Him in our lives.
The Watering season which nourishes us, allowing the Spirit to grow deep roots within .
In the Southwest desert where I live; water is precious, something we rejoice in and pray for to soak our fields and nourish the plants and crops.
The Lord is always preparing us to be His hands, feet, smile and all embracing love and mercy to every one we meet.
May we each yield a harvest of encouragement and joy to others.
