Today, Pope Francis canonized two new saints in Rome, St. Mary Elizabeth Hesselblad and St. Stanislaus of Jesus and Mary Papczyński. Mary Elizabeth was a saint of mercy in her work to save Jews from Nazis during WWII, and went on the found the Order of the Most Holy Savior of St. Bridget. St. Stanislaus also founded the order of Marians of the Immaculate Conception which helped to bring the devotions to the Immaculate Conception and the Divine Mercy to fruition in the church. I would urge you to read more about these incredible saints in the links below.

Houses of Hospitality
The Brigettine’s ministry is welcoming people to their beautiful and affordable hostels around the world. The bridgettine houses are “hostels” of ecumenical charity, of activities and hospitality complemented by the spiritual and cultural dimension. The one in Assisi, Italy is highly recommended by members from my fraternity.
