Memorial of Blessed Raymond Lull

Today is the Memorial of Blessed Raymond Lull, O.F.S., also known as “Doctor Illuminatus” as he contributed over 300 works in Latin, Arabic, and Latin.  Perhaps it is appropriate that we celebrate this great saint of the Franciscan Third Order, as today marks the beginning of the Quinquennial (5-year) Congress of the Secular Franciscan Order in St. Louis.
