October 30th: God wants us to soar in life

October 30, 2016 By admin

“He causes the changes of the times and seasons, …He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who understand. He reveals deep and hidden things and knows what is in the darkness, for the light dwells with him.”

Daniel 2:21-22

eaglets

God is always looking to take us to higher levels. He wants us to grow and increase in every area. Change is a catalyst for growth in our lives, and it keeps us from getting stuck in a rut. Doors open and close, we are taken out of our comfort zones and stretched to allow a life of freedom and not mediocrity.
It reminds me of an Eaglet learning to fly. The Mother Eagle will taker her eaglet to the very highest point, way out of it’s comfort zone, and then she releases it. As the Eaglet falls, the mother swoops down and picks it back up again. She does this over and over until the Eaglet spreads its wings and soars through the air.
God wants us also to Soar in life! He is always with us and our Brothers and Sisters beside us; we are never alone. He is constantly bringing us new Seasons so that we can rise up to the challenges and embrace what He has in store for us.
